Activity “World Heritage Stamp Tour” to be launched on 12 July to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the “Historic Centre of Macao” on the World Heritage List

In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the “Historic Centre of Macao” on the World Heritage List, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will host a series of exciting activities from July to December. One of the highlights, the activity “World Heritage Stamp Tour”, will be launched on 12 July, with limited collection booklets provided by IC and commemorative stamps featuring 22 World Heritage buildings. Residents and visitors are invited to explore the Historic Centre of Macao and collect these exquisite commemorative stamps, creating cherished memories of the 20th anniversary of the inscription of the “Historic Centre of Macao” on the World Heritage List.


【Culinary Connections】“International Gastronomy Forum, Macao” will convene next Monday (14 July) featuring acclaimed chefs as guest speakers

Organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the “2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” (referred to as the “Fest”) is currently held at Roman Amphitheatre Square and Legend Boulevard of Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. As a major highlight, the “International Gastronomy Forum, Macao” will convene at the Convention and Exhibition Centre of Macau Fisherman’s Wharf from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Monday (14 July). Renowned chefs with the Best Chef Awards under their belt are invited to speak at the Forum.



“2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” is unveiled today (11 July) to share Macao’s stories through culinary arts

The “2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” (referred to as the “Fest”), organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), is unveiled at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf today (11 July). Themed as “Spices and Herbs”, the Fest brings together 35 UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy from 22 countries across six continents for a splendid feast of international gastronomic cultures over ten days. Through the three major highlights of “International Gastronomy Promenade”, “City of Gastronomy Showcase” and “International Gastronomy Forum, Macao”, the event showcases Macao’s unique fascinations and strengths as an international exchange platform to the world.

The “2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” (referred to as the “Fest”) welcomes the public at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf from 11 to 20 July. As one of the event’s three major highlights, the “International Gastronomy Promenade” features over 100 food booths with a palette of culinary delights from worldwide. There are a Brew & Chill Zone by day and night, a game zone and a series of artistic and cultural performances among other highlights, offering a symphony of tasty, fun and leisure experiences at one stop. Visitors and residents can be immersed in the vibrant charm of “tourism + gastronomy”.




Main Exhibition and outreach activities of the “Art Macao 2025” will be held next Saturday (19 July) exploring inner aliens and engaging in talks on curatorial philosophy

The Main Exhibition of the mega international cultural and artistic feast “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale” (hereinafter referred to as “Art Macao 2025”) will be held from 19 July to 19 October at the Macao Museum of Art. The Main Exhibition, themed “Hey, what brings you here?”, invites the public to reflect on the history, memory and current complexities of Macao in a global context as well as exploring the nature of life. To extend artistic dialogues, two special activities will be launched on 19 July and the recruitment of “Twin Illusions” volunteers will continue, providing the participants with a unique interactive experience with the audience.


The Macao Chinese Orchestra presents Season Closing Concert “Auspicious Arrival” with programme of Chinese music classics performed by renowned artists

The Macao Chinese Orchestra 2024-25 Season Closing Concert “Auspicious Arrival” will be held on Saturday 26 July, at 8:00 p.m., , at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium. Led by the Orchestra’s Music Director and Principal Conductor, Zhang Lie, the performance will feature celebrated jinghu virtuoso Wang Caiyun, yangqin soloist Liu Yinxuan, and soprano Cui Rui. Together, they will perform a stirring programme blending Chinese music classics with the legendary essence of Peking Opera, showcasing the exquisite artistry of respected musicians.
