CE congratulates Sam Hou Fai on election result

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, today cordially congratulated Mr Sam Hou Fai on his election and on becoming the sixth-term Chief Executive-elect of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR).

Mr Sam Hou Fai has been elected as Chief Executive for the sixth-term Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR). Mr Sam won the election with 394 votes, representing 98.99 percent of the total votes available in the Chief Executive Election held today.

Flags to fly at half-mast to mourn chairman Wu Bangguo

National flags and flags of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) will fly at half-mast on Monday (14 October) to mourn the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress, and of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress, Mr Wu Bangguo, who died in Beijing on 8 October 2024.
