Promoting Trade in Services to Integrate with National Development

To assist local enterprises in "going global" and better integrate into the national development framework, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) of the Macao Special Administrative Region recently organised a delegation of nearly 20 representatives from sectors such as big health, exhibitions, technology, finance, and import-export to participate in the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Fair for Trade in Services (BAFTIS) held in Zhuhai. They attended the opening ceremony, specialised seminars on Greater Bay Area’s MICE, and briefing sessions on investment promotion services.


UM State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI holds academic committee meeting

The State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (SKL-AMSV) at the University of Macau (UM) held the second meeting of its third academic committee. During the meeting, the committee members conducted a comprehensive review of the laboratory’s latest developments and put forward suggestions for its research direction and the commercialisation of research outcomes.



Dance theatre Selfish Selfie staged in November Cultural Affairs Bureau organizes session to promote local productions to the world stages

As the second commissioned project of the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s programme “Commissioning Performing Arts Productions 2024-2026”, Selfish Selfie will be staged from 14 to 16 November at the Macao Cultural Centre Box II. Directed by local choreographer Alexis Kam in collaboration with several artists, the new creation combines physical movements with artificial intelligence (AI) creating brand-new forms of body language and performance through real-time interaction between dancers, actors and AI.


IPIM Organises 43 Enterprises to Exhibit at the 8th CIIE Macao's Big Health Brands Go Global through National-Level Exhibition

The Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) of the Macao Special Administrative Region has organised 43 small and medium-sized enterprises from Macao to participate in the "8th China International Import Expo" (CIIE), which will be held in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November. Among this year’s Macao exhibitors, the number of health-related enterprises has significantly increased to six. 11 companies participate in CIIE for the first time, accounting for about a quarter of all Macao exhibitors. IPIM is seizing the opportunities arising from this national-level exhibition to connect four major industries internationally and enhance Macao's appropriate economic diversification.


Monetary and financial statistics – September 2025

According to statistics released today (5 November) by the Monetary Authority of Macao, broad money supply rebounded in September 2025. Meanwhile, resident deposits rose from a month ago whereas loans to residents posted a decline.


CE to deliver 2026 Policy Address on 18 November

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, will deliver the 2026 Policy Address on 18 November at the Legislative Assembly. The session will start at 3pm.




Launch of the “1st Chinese Culture Performances Season” Promoting Chinese culture with outstanding performances and diversified experiences

Under the patronage of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, co-organised by the Department of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Education and Youth Development Bureau and the Municipal Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, the “1st Chinese Culture Performances Season” will be held from November 2025 to March 2026, offering an artistic feast that combines outstanding performances and diverse experiential activities, creating a brand-new signature event.
