Logo, mascot and slogan unveiled for ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2024 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group

The ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2024 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), organized by the Sports Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group and World Table Tennis Management Group Limited (WTMG), and co-organized by the Macau Table Tennis General Association, will be held at the Galaxy Arena from 15 to 21 April. The organizers today (25 March) unveiled the official event logo, mascot and slogan.




6th Ministerial Conference of Forum Macao to be held in Macao in April

The 6th Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), known as Forum Macao, will be held in Macao from 21 to 23 April inclusive.


Logistics expert Lee Hau Leung gives talk at UM on Supply Chain Renaissance

The University of Macau (UM) held a Doctor honoris causa Lecture today (25 March). Lee Hau Leung, honorary doctor of UM and world-renowned expert in logistics and supply chain management, gave a talk titled ‘Supply Chain Renaissance’ to discuss the great challenges and opportunities the COVID-19 outbreak has brought to global supply chain management. The talk was well attended by UM students and faculty, as well as industry practitioners and prominent members of the community.


Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences to give talk at UM on virus-host interaction

The University of Macau (UM) will hold a talk titled ‘Virus-Host Interaction: Targets for Vaccines and Drug Discoveries’ on Wednesday 27 March as part of the Seminar Series of Ministry of Education Frontiers Science Center for Precision Oncology, UM. Gao Fu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), international member of the US National Academy of Sciences, and professor in the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, will be the speaker. During the talk, he will discuss the importance of studying the mechanisms of virus-host interaction and developing vaccines and antiviral drugs to prevent and control pandemic diseases. All are welcome to attend the talk.
