Fire Drill at the Public Prosecutions Office Building

A fire drill will be conducted between 09:05am and 09:35am on Thursday, 6 June 2024 at the Public Prosecutions Office Building (Edifício do Ministério Público, Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, no. 683). During the drill, temporary traffic control will be carried out at neighboring streets and public services at the Building will be adjusted. We ask for your kind attention.


[Jointly Exploring Opportunities in Europe] IPIM Organises a Delegation of Macao Enterprises to Attend the Greater Bay Area and Europe Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Europe (France) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, jointly hosted by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government, and the Macao SAR Government, was held in Paris, France on 24 May (Paris time). Governor of Guangdong Province Wang Weizhong, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong SAR Government Paul Chan, and Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Ao Ieong U, representing the Chief Executive of the Macao SAR, attended the event and delivered keynote speeches. The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) organised Macao enterprises to attend the Conference along with the Macao SAR government delegation, taking this opportunity to present Macao-Hengqin business and investment environment to European investors and those from other countries and regions. The event attracted over 400 leaders of the political, commercial and industrial sectors from mainland China, France, other European countries and regions, as well as Hong Kong and Macao SARs, including the leaders from Fortune 500 companies.

Macau New Neighbourhood secondary school construction in full swing Shops to open in July

The construction of the secondary school, one of the important livelihood facilities at Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin, is in full swing as of 27 May. The secondary school will feature an outdoor sports field, sports hall, canteen, multi-purpose classrooms, car parking area for teaching staff, among others. Project completion is expected to be in 2026 and will be handed over for operations, completing the basic education facilities that MNN has to offer.

UM holds Congregation and graduates over 1,700 students

UM presents Teaching Excellence Award

At the Congregation 2024 held today (2 June), the University of Macau (UM) presented the Teaching Excellence Award to one faculty member in recognition of his outstanding teaching performance. The recipient for the 2023/2024 academic year is Wong Fai, associate professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST).
