MGTO organizes “Quality Tourism Services Accreditation Scheme” Assessment Seminars 2023 for catering businesses and travel agencies

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) held the 2023 “Quality Tourism Services Accreditation Scheme” (“QTSAS” or the “Scheme”) Assessment Seminars for the Food and Beverage Sector and Travel Agencies yesterday and today (1 and 2 June) respectively to brief accredited merchants on the assessment criteria and logistics for the Scheme this year. The audience include eligible new merchants and currently-accredited businesses which will compete for the awards again or undergo the assessments for the supervision period.

The children’s bumper car track in Leisure Area of Kun Iam Statue Waterfront has been well-received by the public since its opening. Being used frequently, the floor of the children’s bumper car track is showing wear and tear to varying degrees, which may affect player experience.

Jointly organised by the China International Contractors Association and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, the 14th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) kicks off today (1 June). Focusing on green and low-carbon, digital intelligence-driven development trends, over 3,000 political, business and academic elites from all over the world in the infrastructure sector are brought together to explore topics such as energy and water infrastructure, international co-operation and green transformation, smart rail transit, new energy and new materials, with a view to jointly promote the high-quality development of international infrastructure co-operation.


UM doctoral students hold residential workshop in UK

The 2020 intake students of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme at the University of Macau (UM) successfully held a residential workshop on ‘Leading the Future: Reshaping Entrepreneurship in the Post-Pandemic Era’ in the UK. The overseas workshop was a compulsory course of the DBA programme. Through visits to leading universities and business organisations, such as the University of Cambridge, the London School of Economics and Political Science, ARM Global Headquarters, the CBRE Group, Morgan Motor Company, the Cambridge Science Park, and the China-Britain Business Council, the students had the opportunity to interact with well-known scholars and business leaders to learn about the latest theories and practices of business management. One highlight of the workshop was a high table dinner at King’s College of the University of Cambridge, with guests including George Pippas, former councillor and former mayor of Cambridge. The students exchanged views with the guests on the cultural characteristics, traditions, and emerging industries of both China and the UK.


Integration of the Hac Sa Wan (Areia Preta) and the Mong Ha Post Offices and operation in new location

In order to conform with the urban planning and development of the Northern Area of Macao, the Mong Ha Post Office located at Avenida de Venceslau de Morais, n.os 178-182, e Rua do Padre Eugénio Taverna, n.os 3-5, Habitação Social de Mong Ha, Edifício Mong Sin I e II, 1.o Andar “C1”, will be relocated to the following new address with effect from 19th June 2023. The office hours will remain unchanged:
