As Chinese New Year is approaching, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will launch a Lunar Year of the Dragon greeting card on 10^th January 2024, which will be available for sale at the General Post Office and all post offices. More than 1,000 conventions and exhibition were held in Macao in 2023, reaching the set target. According to data from the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute’s “One-stop Service” for MICE Bidding and Support, there were 44 projects throughout the year focused on the four major key industries, representing an approximately 30% year-on-year growth. This reflects the gradual formation of the "industry + exhibition" approach and the steady expansion of the exhibition brand influence. The approach of “attracting investment with exhibitions” model is becoming more refined.

In order to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the promulgation of the Macao Basic Law, to further deepen Macao secondary school students’ understanding of the Constitution, the Macao Basic Law and the Law on Safeguarding National Security, and to create a good environment for knowing, abiding by and protecting the law, the “One Country, Two Systems” Research Centre of the Macao Polytechnic University held lectures titled “Constitution and Basic Law on Campus” from January to December 2023. The aim of the lectures is to help middle school students understand the role of the Constitution and the Macao Basic Law in ensuring the long-term prosperity and development of Macao and the safety and contentment of residents. Thirty secondary schools participated, and a total of 41 lectures were held throughout the year, with 8,300 students participating and responding enthusiastically.

Macau New Neighbourhood (MNN) in Hengqin has attracted attention and support from the general public since home sales at the livelihood project began on 28 November 2023. To facilitate prospective homeowners to move in more smoothly, team members at MNN have been working intensively on all kinds of approval procedures. With the support from several entities of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, MNN held a ceremony on 2 January 2024 to launch the one-stop service of online real estate registration procedure and flat handover, becoming the first livelihood project in the Cooperation Zone to issue ownership certificates instantly after the handover of completed homes.
