The Judiciary Police (PJ) has recently discovered scammers setting up bogus social media pages under the pretense of a certain travel agency and posted multiple fraudulent advertisements, offering food and accommodation deals at a discounted price.


MGTO attends APEC Tourism Working Group Meeting in Philippines

The 61st Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Tourism Working Group (TWG) Meeting convened in a hybrid online-offline format in Iloilo City, Philippines from 26 to 27 April 2023. Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and theEconomic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) attended the meeting on behalf of Macao, China as a guest economy, to exchange tourism information and work plans, as well as present the strategies adopted by the Macao SAR Government to foster tourism and economic revival.

33rd Macao Arts Festival kicks off with Rite of Spring by Yang Liping bringing a visual feast to the stage

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the 33rd Macao Arts Festival (MAF), was inaugurated today (28 April). Themed “The Long Artistic Journey”, this edition of the Festival features 20 selected programmes covering theatre, opera, dance, music and visual arts, inviting the public to be inspired and appreciate the beauty of life that art brings.

A Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government delegation, led by the Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, returned to Macao in the evening on Thursday (27 April), after a 10-day trip to three European countries: Portugal, Luxembourg, and Belgium.

In celebration of the International Museum Day on 18 May, and in response with the theme of this year’s event “Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing”, the Macao Museum of Art (MAM) and the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao under the Cultural Affairs Bureau will hold a series of thematic activities and exhibitions in May, offering residents and tourists a wonderful museum experience. Admission is free. All are welcome to participate.
