CE meets Secretary of CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, today met with the Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Mr Meng Fanli. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening the existing cooperation mechanism between Shenzhen and Macao, and advancing collaboration in a number of areas, including the marine economy, technological innovation, the cultural, sports, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism industries, finance, and the leveraging of Macao’s role as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries for mutual benefit.

CE to visit six Greater Bay Area cities

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, will lead a delegation of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government to visit, from Sunday (22 June) to Tuesday (24 June), six mainland cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, namely Shenzhen, Huizhou, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhaoqing, and Foshan.
