Present citywide NAT has ended at 11:00 this morning, with 720,000+ samples collected; All test results are negative

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that the present citywide nucleic acid testing scheme has ended at 11:00 this morning with some 725,000 samples collected. All the samples have been analysed and returned as negative. Apart from this, a total of 448,912 rapid antigen test results have been uploaded from 00:00 to 15:00 today (2 November).

Address retrieval from DSI to be disabled for Macao Health Code, starting 9 November; Public required to provide correct and up-to-date residential address in Macao

According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, when filling in the local residential address in the “Macao Health Code” app, some members of the public have checked the option “Give consent to the Health Bureau to retrieve personal information from the Identification Services Bureau if registered address falls into the affected area(s)” without updating their address with the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) in advance; as a result, their Macao Health Code was converted into a red or yellow code for wrong address information during the implementation of anti-epidemic management and control.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that the present citywide nucleic acid testing scheme has ended at 11:00 this morning with some 725,000 samples collected. Untested individuals in Macao will see their Macao Health Code converted to yellow, and they must make an appointment for self-paid testing at a regular NAT station. Considering the possibility of issuing Typhoon Signal No.8 during daytime today (2 November) remains “medium to relatively high”, relevant individuals should make the appointment and get tested as soon as possible.
