Co-organisation of Bond Market Seminar for Judicial Personnel

In an effort to deepen judicial personnel’s understanding of the latest development and supervisory mechanisms of Macao’s bond market, as well as the practical experiences from mature bond markets, the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) and the Legal and Judicial Training Centre (CFJJ) of the Macao Special Administration Region (SAR) Government collaborated to co-organise a seminar titled “Bond Market Supervisory Mechanisms and Development Trends” for judges and prosecutors of the Macao SAR, with featured speakers from the AMCM as well as Hong Kong’s legal and financial sectors.


MPU Faculty and Students Visit National Security Education Exhibition

To strengthen national security awareness among faculty and students, to understand the nation’s century-long developmental achievements, and jointly to support the harmonious stability and high-quality development of the country and Macao, more than 100 faculty members and students from Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) attended the National Security Education Exhibition. The event was jointly hosted by the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR at the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The participating faculty and students witnessed the nation’s significant progress over the past year, gaining profound understanding of how national security underpins Macao’s prosperity and stability while serving as the cornerstone for citizens’ wellbeing. Recognising their dual roles as both national citizens and youth leaders, they affirmed their commitment to protect national security collectively and to embrace innovation boldly.


MPU Hosts Sharing Session on Macao-Hengqin Opportunities in Entrepreneurship, Employment and Internships Policies

To nurture the next generation of talents, encourage Macao’s youth to engage with the Greater Bay Area, and inspire their involvement in the development of the Cooperation Zone, the Student Affairs Office of Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) hosted a sharing session on Macao-Hengqin Opportunities in Entrepreneurship, Employment and Internships Policies as part of its career development activity series.


Macao University of Tourism and University of Surrey Offer Dual Bachelor's Degree Programme

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) continues to deepen its international collaborations. Recently, UTM signed a new cooperation agreement with the University of Surrey (UOS) in the United Kingdom (UK) to launch a dual bachelor's degree programme, providing enriched learning opportunities for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Business Management.


Widely listening to public opinions and integrating suggestions to implement construction plan of Hac Sá Youth Adventure Camp

In regard to the construction of the Hac Sá Youth Adventure Camp, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) listened to public opinions by successively organising 19 seminars targeting various sectors, visiting 32 primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, and giving face-to-face introduction to over 6,400 teachers and students over the past period. In addition, close to 5,500 valid questionnaires were collected from the questionnaire survey for quantitative analysis of various opinions. With integration of the views and in-depth analysis, IAM made adjustments and optimisation of the design and construction of the camp site, and the construction plan of the Hac Sá Youth Adventure Camp 2025 was eventually formulated.


Tender invitation for Hac Sá Youth Adventure Camp commences today with optimised design and unchanged positioning and core items

The first stage of invitation of tenders for the Hac Sá Youth Adventure Camp commences today (30 April). Over the past period, after extensive collection of views and in-depth analysis, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has formulated the construction plan of the Hac Sá Youth Adventure Camp 2025. On the premise of ensuring safety, quality and strict budget control, the positioning and core items, the layout of the camp site and the division of functional areas of the adventure camp remain unchanged, with adjustments and optimisation in construction structures and methods, specialised designs and other aspects. The total budget is controlled within MOP 500-600 million.


Macao Creative Pavilion participates in the Hong Kong International Licensing Show to promote Macao’s original IP brands

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym) organised the participation of Macao’s cultural and creative industries in the Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2025, in which it has set up the “Macao Creative Pavilion”, creating business opportunities and exchanges for local cultural and creative industries, supporting the local original IP brands and expanding their market externally.


New mural on stone steps in Bairro Horta da Mitra showcases the characteristics of the neighbourhood

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) invited young artists to create a new mural on the stone steps of Rua de Tomás da Rosa under the theme “The Hoop of Time of the Bairro Horta da Mitra”. The mural enriches the scenery of local streets and alleys by portraying the historical changes in the neighbourhood over a century. Residents and tourists are welcome to visit.
