No additional positive cases within 24 hours yesterday (31 July)

According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, no additional positive cases were reported in Macao within 24 hours yesterday (31 July): 0 case in medical observation hotels, 0 case of close contacts, 0 case in the NAT for Key Areas and Groups, and 0 case among other population groups.


NAT arrangements for key groups and people leaving home for work tomorrow (1 August)

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, in response to the “consolidation period”, on 1 August (Monday), 8 key groups are required to undergo one NAT, and people leaving home for work are required to undergo one NAT every 2 days.


Health Bureau announces health services arrangement on 1 August

To cooperate with the anti-epidemic measures of the MSAR Government during the consolidation period, the health services, drug replenishment and other services of the Conde de São Januário General Hospital, Health Centres and Health Stations on 1 August are arranged as follows:


IAS will maintain minimum services on Monday

In conjunction with the anti-epidemic work of the MSAR Government,the Social Welfare Bureau (SWB) will continue to providelimited services on Monday (1stof August);appointments are required, except forthe Detoxification and Maintenance Treatment Services in the Areia Preta Drug Treatment Centre (Methadone) and in the Carmo (Taipa) Drug Treatment Centre (Methadone)which will continue to operate normally.

If residents are in need of urgent services,they should request the respective information by phone and make an appointment in advance, and be at the service location at the scheduled time in order to minimize the risk of being infected due to potential crowding.


People with previous history of COVID-19 or recent residence/travel history to foreign country are required to conduct single sample test in nucleic acid testing

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that, it is more common for people with residence or travel history to foreign country to have previous history of COVID-19, and a certain number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 have been tested “re-postive” repeatedly in nucleic acid tests for COVID-19. When the samples of the above-mentioned individuals and others are tested together in mixed samples, a positive result will be identified, and it would be necessary to trace all sampled individuals in the same positive tube for re-testing.


Arrangements for PSP's External Services from 30 July to 1 August

In order to uphold the implementation of the MSAR Government’s epidemic prevention and control strategy and, at the same time, meet the public’s demand for public services, the MSAR Government decided that, during the consolidation period of epidemic prevention and control from 30 July to 1 August 2022, public departments will provide limited external services. All individuals should note that if they enter the Public Security Police Force (PSP) facilities, they are required to wear an up-to-standard mask, undergo a temperature check and present a green health code, or they may be refused entry.

Social Security Fund Rolls Out Online Plaftorm for Employers to Look Up the Payment Advice Numbers for Making Electronic Payments

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to reduce crowd gathering and prevent the spread of virus, the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) has rolled out an online enquiry platform for employers to look up the payment advice numbers, for the purpose of paying contributions of the obligatory system (long-term employees) and the employment fee for non-resident workers, so that employers can make the relevant payments through electronic channels.


CTT Macao warns the Public for Fraudulent SMSs

Recently, some citizens reported that they have received SMSs sent in the name of Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT), soliciting the recipient to click the embedded link to pay additional fee for their parcels and providepersonal information.

We have to clarify that CTT did not send the SMSs concerned and remind the public to stay vigilant. Anyone receiving such text messages, should stay cautious, never click on the link or provide any personal information. If anyone suspect to have fallen prey to scam, please call the Judiciary Police’s Anti-fraud hotline 8800 7777 or crime report hotline 993 for help.
