Fresh and live food arrival in Macao on 15 July (Friday)

A total of 6 tubes of mixed samples tested positive as of 08:00 in the 9th round of Citywide NAT; Concerned NAT stations and sampling time announced

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that the 9th round of Citywide NAT Programme has been launched at 09:00 yesterday (14 July). As of 08:00 today (15 July), a total of 6 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive.


Citywide NAT – Round 9 (08H00): 454,304 samples collected; 379,717 proved negative

With regard to the 9th round of citywide NAT programme, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces the following:


New positive cases between within 24 hours yesterday (14 July)

According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, new positive cases within 24 hours yesterday (14 July) include: 20 cases in the Red Code zones and medical observation hotels, which were detected under the management and control; 2 cases of close contacts, 7 cases in the Citywide NAT and Key Groups NAT, and 2 cases among other population groups, which were found within the community.

Subsistence Team appeals to households in Red Code Zones to cooperate with anti-epidemic work

Currently a number of buildings in Macao have been listed as Red Code Zones. The residents in Red Code Zones are subject to quarantine and required to stay at home, pay attention to personal hygiene and hygiene of the living environment, dispose of domestic waste properly and cooperate with anti-epidemic work in accordance with the epidemic prevention and hygiene guidelines.


Subsistence Team continues to support Red Code buildings and carries out source-tracing of vegetables and frozen meat food packs to monitor quality

The Subsistence Team continuously provides subsistence services for the Red Code buildings. The vegetables and frozen meat food packs delivered to the households in Red Code buildings contain fresh vegetables arrived in Macao on the day and each pack of frozen meat is sticked with the name of the supplier to facilitate source-tracing and monitoring of the food safety and quality.
