Opening hours of the outdoor space of the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre extended
The Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is an important landmark located on the waterfront promenade in NAPE. In order to facilitate the public’s use of cultural facilities, the outdoor space of the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre adjusted its daily opening hours to 7am to 11pm, from 28 November, while the indoor area of the Centre is open from 10am to 6pm, from Saturdays to Thursdays.

Airport security exercise to be postponed
Due to the work arrangement of the participating entities, the Macau International Airport security exercise, originally scheduled to be carried out tomorrow (29 November 2022), will be postponed to a later date.

Cancellation of Peking Opera’s tour to Macao
Due to the ongoing anti-epidemic measures, the tour to Macao of the China National Peking Opera Company, jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of Macao SAR, has to be cancelled. Originally scheduled for the 16 and 17 of December, the two performances planned to be staged at Macao Cultural Centre have to be withdrawn given the current circumstances faced by company that prevent it to travel to Macao as planned.

IAM carries out household surveys in enclosed building to provide food supplies
Together with the Public Security Police Force and the Social Welfare Bureau, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has formed a Subsistence Team to carry out household surveys in the Red Code building to understand the actual number of residents and their basic needs and to provide food supplies. At the same time, IAM assists the Health Bureau in arranging for each resident of the enclosed building to undergo nucleic acid screening against the virus in groups in an orderly manner.

Airport will carry out security exercise tomorrow (29 November 2022)
Macau International Airport will carry out a security exercise on 29 November 2022 between 14:30 to 17:00. The objective of the exercise is to test the airport emergency plan and the capacity of the people in handling the security contingency work. A number of government entities and the aviation operators will take part in the exercise.

The 2022 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon, jointly organized by the Sports Bureau and the General Association of Athletics of Macau, and title-sponsored by Galaxy Entertainment Group, will be held on 4 December. To allow participants, residents and tourists to experience the vibrant and joyful atmosphere of the event, the 8-day 2022 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon Carnival is being held from 27 November to 4 December.

UM, Chinese National Academy of Arts hold contemporary art exhibition in Macao
‘Coalescence & Dispersion: Chinese National Academy of Arts and Macao Contemporary Art Exhibition’, an exhibition co-organised by the Centre for Arts and Design of the University of Macau (UM), the Chinese National Academy of Arts, and Macao Painting Academy, is now on view at the Art Museum of the Centre for Arts and Design at UM. 20 pieces of artwork by 11 artists from three different institutions have been selected for the exhibition, which presents the dialogues and exchanges of ideas on the convergence, divergence, and interpretation of ‘contemporaneity’ by these artists. All are welcome.
