Mortgage loans statistics – September 2021
According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) and commercial real estate loans (CRELs) both decreased in September 2021. With regard to the outstanding balances, RMLs rose whereas CRELs witnessed a decline.

Macau International Airport concluded its full scale emergency exercise in a smooth manner
In accordance with the 2021 year plan of the Macao Facilitation and Security Committee, Macau International Airport conducts different types of exercise every year with the aim of training the government entities and operators involved in the airport search and rescue to deal with emergencies. The airport conducted the yearly full scale emergency exercise early this morning (10 November 2021) to simulate the scenario of an accident that occurred in the apron, the fuselage was damaged, the airport emergency plan was immediately activated to resolve the crisis. The exercise was concluded in a smooth manner and achieved its goal.

Demographic statistics for the 3rd quarter of 2021
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the total population as at end-September 2021 decreased by 200 quarter-to-quarter to 682,300; female population (362,900) accounted for 53.2% of the total.

The presentation session was joined by nearly 120 entrepreneurs and 72 business matching sessions took place.
