Over 100 Representatives of Enterprises Join the “Chengdu-Macao Business Matching and Networking Session”
To intensify commercial and trade exchange and cooperation between enterprises in Chengdu and Macao, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) held the “Chengdu-Macao Business Matching and Networking Session”. 103 enterprises from various industries including trade, food/product retail and distribution, electronic commerce, tourism, participated in the event. A total 82 matching sessions took place, covering areas such as food souvenir and wine distribution, essential oil collaboration project, products’ launch on e-commerce platform.

DSEDT Attends the 52nd APEC SMEWG Meeting on Behalf of Macao, China
The 52nd meeting of the Small and Medium Enterprises Working Group (SMEWG) of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was held days earlier (23 to 24 September) in a virtual format. The Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) attended the meeting on behalf of Macao, China as a guest economy.

Registration for the 2021 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon starts this weekend
The 2021 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon, jointly organized by the Sports Bureau and the General Association of Athletics of Macau, will be held on 5 December 2021. In line with e-governance development as launched by the Macao SAR Government, an all-online registration system will be implemented this year for the convenience of the general public, and particularly for race participants. Registration will be open from 9:00 a.m. on 25 September (Saturday) for the marathon and half-marathon categories, and from 9:00 a.m. on 26 September (Sunday) for the mini-marathon category.

The selected proposal for the “59th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia – Collateral Event from Macao, China”, organized by the Macao Museum of Art (MAM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), was announced. The exhibition proposal “Allegory of Dreams”, submitted by curator João Miguel Barros and artists Ung Vai Meng and Chan Hin Io, was selected to represent Macao at the Biennale in Venice, Italy next year.
