The Consumer Council continues to conduct price survey on various kinds of products to enhance price transparency and survey result reveals price differences in different retail outlets. Consumers are suggested to use the data published by the Council for price comparison.


Macao Public Library under the Cultural Affairs Bureau launches the 28th issue of Books and the City

The 28th issue of Books and the City, published by the Macao Public Library under the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is now available to the public. This issue explores the theme “Whisper of Nature”, enabling readers to embrace nature through words. In the authors’ writing, readers will be led to the jungles and mountains to appreciate the lush greenness and to the wilderness and grassland to learn the rules of survival and admire the beauty of nature, flowers, plants, insects and birds.


Commemorative postmark cancellation service of “20 Years of the Macao Heritage Ambassadors”

To celebrate the 20 years of the Macao Heritage Ambassadors, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at our Philatelic Shop of General Post Office, from 10:00 to 17:00 on 12th November 2021 to provide the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “20 Years of the Macao Heritage Ambassadors”. A commemorative postcard priced at MOP3.00 will be issued.


CE bolsters Zhejiang-Macao ties during Hangzhou visit

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, met with leading officials of the Zhejiang Government in Hangzhou city, Zhejiang Province, in order to exchange views on how to extend bilateral ties. Mr Ho was there after attending, in Shanghai, the opening ceremony of the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

Jointly organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and local community organizations,the series of activities entitled “Tour Macao FUN Fair” are unfolding to foster diversification of tourism products and attract visitors into different local communities for sightseeing and spending. The activity series aim to enrich the spectrum of travel experiences, steer community tourism and economy forward, as well as deepen cross-sector integration of “tourism +”. As the debut activity of the “Tour Macao FUN Fair” series, the “Creative and Artistic Carnival” Themed Market is enlivening the Taipa Houses every Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 28 November to draw visitors into the community for sightseeing and spending.
