Subsidized nursery facilities, non-residential and non-emergency social facilities suspended in the next two days

In order to prevent and control the epidemic and ensure the safety and health of all service users and staff members, the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) announces that the operation of subsidized nursery facilites, non-residential and non-emergency social facilities in Macao will be suspended over the weekend (September 25 and 26). However, residential homes (such as various types of reception centres, sheltered facilities and care homes) and emergency support services (such as LifeLine, SafeTrans emergency call service and Rehabus service) will remain open during this period. It is also recommended that all non-subsidized facilities cooperate and follow the above-mentioned epidemic prevention measures.

Owing to the pandemic situation and in parallel with the Macao SAR Government’s latest work to contain and prevent the pandemic, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) announced that the local tours of the “Stay, Dine and See Macao” project are suspended from 25 September onwards to safeguard public safety, for the public ’s kind attention. Ferry services between Macao and Shenzhen suspended temporarily

In response to the prevention and control of COVID-19, ferry services between Macao and Shenzhen have been suspended temporarily from today (25th) until further notice. DSAMA has urged ferry operators to announce relevant information via various channels, including releasing information on their websites and putting up notices at ferry terminals. They are also required to properly handle pre-sale ticket refunds.


Temporary housing show flats to close starting today

To coordinate with the Macau SAR Government’s prevention and control work of COVID-19 epidemic, the exhibition about Areia Preta’s Lot P temporary housing project located on the 3rd floor of Mong Ha Social Housing – Edifício Mong Tak in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira, will be temporarily closed starting today (25 September) until further notice. Service users’ understanding is appreciated.


All outbound travellers must hold a proof of negative nucleic acid test with 48 hours

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, with effect from 00:00 of 25 September, all travellers departing Macao must hold a proof of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours. Members of the public are urged not to leave the territory unless necessary.
