Summit Held by Large Tourism Platform Leads Traders into Communities, IPIM Organises “MICE Environment Experience Tour”
Trip.com Group, a global one-stop travel service platform, successfully held its 2021 Global Partner Summit for the first time in Macao on 9 December. As a continuous effort to promote Macao’s MICE strengths and diverse tourism resources, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) organised the “MICE Environment Experience Tour” yesterday (10 December) for over 120 participating traders to experience Macao’s MICE software and hardware facilities as well as its peripheral tourism and gastronomic offerings, to revitalise the community economy and promote the strengths of “tourism + MICE” among the participants.

MPI Seniors Academy organizes students to experience e-banking services
Recently, Students of the Electronic Service Application Course of the MPI Seniors Academy, led by Miss Chan Chio Lai to visit the Bank of China Macau Branch (San Ma Lou sub-branch). The ACS expects that by participating in this tour, students will gain a better understanding of various e-banking services by combining actual operation with the content of daily e-courses, as well as experience the ease that electronic technology provides.

Macao Polytechnic Institute held “Moderate Economic Diversity and Sustainable Development of Macao” Forum
In order to expand students’ horizons and to activate the academic atmosphere, the School of Business of Macao Polytechnic Institute recently held an academic forum on the "Moderate Economic Diversity and Sustainable Development of Macao", which has also been one of the key activities to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Polytechnic Institute. This forum invited three MPI alumni, including Song Wai Kit, President of the Macau Responsible Gaming Association; Leung Sio Kei, President of the Youth Association of Returned Overseas Chinese Macau, and Meng Zhanchen, Assistant Vice President of the Investment Banking Department of a well-known securities company in mainland China, as guest speakers, and Tang Chi Fong, a PhD student of the Macao Polytechnic Institute, as host.

Chio Fai Aglaia Kong gives talk at UM on innovation opportunities under various global factors
The University of Macau (UM) today (13 December) held a Doctor honoris causa Lecture in celebration of its 40th anniversary. Chio Fai Aglaia Kong, recipient of an honorary doctorate from UM, gave a talk titled ‘Innovations for Billions’ to analyse innovation opportunities in today’s world under various global factors. The event attracted UM faculty members and students, teachers and students from local secondary schools, industry practitioners, and prominent members of the community.

“Style．Encounter Moment” Fashion Parade showcases local designers’ latest achievements

MSAR Government diligently fulfils its constitutional responsibility to safeguard national security, in line with the Central Government’s decision
The Macao SAR Gazette today published Administrative Regulation No. 47/2021 – Amendment to Administrative Regulation 22/2018, regarding the Committee for Safeguarding National Security of the Macao Special Administrative Region, to establish the posts of National Security Adviser and National Security Technical Adviser on the Committee for Safeguarding National Security, and clearly define the duties and responsibilities attached to those posts. The new Administrative Regulation will come into effect on 14 December 2021.
