Intermittent interruption of certain electronic services due to maintenance of IAM system
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will carry out maintenance of the information system from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on 14 December. Mortgage loans statistics – October 2024
According to statistics released today (12 December) by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) and commercial real estate loans (CRELs) both decreased month-on-month in October 2024. With regard to the outstanding balances, both RMLs and CRELs witnessed declines on a monthly basis.

“Macao Cultural Heritage Trails” webpage launched to share historical and cultural resources for an enriched tourist experience
The Cultural Affairs Bureau has officially launched the “Macao Cultural Heritage Trails” webpage (www.culturalheritage.mo/en/plans) to effectively share Macao’s historical and cultural resources and provide residents and tourists with a cultural experience open to self-exploration. The first phase introduces two thematic trail routes: the “Macao Maritime Silk Road Historic Sites Route” and the “Route of Historic Buildings with Educational Role in East-West Cultural Exchange”.

Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre reopens today (11 December) providing multi-functional cultural tourism spaces
The Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), reopens today (11 December). During the reopening ceremony, “Moments of Light with Kun Iam – Solo Exhibition of Cristina Rocha Leiria” was inaugurated, officiated by the President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Leong Wai Man; the Deputy Director of the Department of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, Bai Bing; the Director of the Macao Museum of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Lou Ho Ian; member of the Cultural Development Consultative Committee, Ieng Weng Fat; and by the renowned Portuguese architect and sculptor Cristina Maria de Faria Rocha Leiria.

[Investment Promotion in Wuhan] IPIM Promotes Macao to 20 Big Health and High-tech Enterprises and Hubei Enterprises Are Optimistic about Macao’s Competitive Edges
In order to bolster the appropriately diversified development for Macao’s economy, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) went to Wuhan from 2 to 4 December for investment promotion. This initiative involved promoting Macao’s business advantages to a number of prominent Wuhan enterprises operating in the fields of big health and high technology industries, eliciting positive responses and feedback.
