[Quality Improvement of MICE Events] IPIM Invites Experts to Launch Multi-faceted Training for MICE Practitioners
Four consecutive sessions of “MICE Workshop” successfully concluded yesterday (5 July). In the event, five MICE industry experts were invited to conduct training in two practical categories, namely, “Booth design” and “Technology application in MICE events”, which attracted a total of 100 participants comprising MICE enterprise leaders, managers, practitioners as well as teachers and students from colleges and universities.

Residential property price index for March – May 2023
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the overall residential property price index for March - May 2023 increased by 0.1% over the previous period (February - April 2023) to 251.4. The index for Taipa & Coloane (258.1) rose by 0.6% while that for the Macao Peninsula (249.7) dropped by 0.1%.

Beware of renovation scam

Lately, quite a few residents have filed complaints with the Judiciary Police (PJ), alleging they have employed workers through online platforms to renovate their homes and solve leakage problems. Once renovation begins, workers use various excuses, such as the location of leakage, more materials needed, price estimates of raw materials have changed, etc., to increase the price significantly. They also refuse to follow up on the project, leading victims to suspect they have been cheated.

Online registration for the subscription of Year of the Dragon commemorative coins and Lunar Year Commemorative Coin Collector Box starting next Monday

The Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) will be launching 2024 Year of the Dragon commemorative coins and online registration for the subscription will start on next Monday (10 July 2023). At the same time, the Lunar New Year Commemorative Coin Collector Box (2020-2031) will be launched for citizens who are interested in collecting a total of 12 pieces of 1 oz Silver Proof coins of the current series.
