Macao International Parade award-voting activity and photography contest are open to the public
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the ‘2024 Macao International Parade’ will take place on 24 March in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to the motherland. To encourage the participation of both residents and tourists, a series of outreach activities will once again be held for the Parade, including the “Most Popular” Award, selected by the public, and a photography contest, in the hope of creating a lively atmosphere across the city.

UM to hold Career and Internship Fair on 21 and 22 March
The University of Macau (UM) will hold the UM Career and Internship Fair 2024 on 21 and 22 March. During the event, a total of 115 enterprises and organisations from various industries will set up recruitment booths at the university, offering more than 2,300 job opportunities.

Macao Polytechnic University, Faculty of Health Sciences and Sports organizes “Scientific Report on Advancement in the Diagnosis and Treatment of drug resistance in ovarian cancer”
To accompany the development of biomedical technology and the nursing profession, the Faculty of Health Sciences and Sports of the Macao Polytechnic University organized a scientific report on "Advancements in Diagnosis and Treatment of Drug resistance in Ovarian Cancer", inviting Dr. Zou Dongling, Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Center/Organ Translational Research Laboratory at the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Chongqing University, as the guest speaker. The lecture attracted 160 students and faculty members from Macao Polytechnic University, and received a warm response.

Concert “After the Romance” by the Macao Orchestra presentes masterpieces by Rachmaninoff and Barber ’s
Co-organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Macao Orchestra Company, Limited and the six integrated resorts, the concert “After the Romance”, one of the concerts of the Macao Orchestra 2023-24 Season, will be held on Friday 22 March at 8:00pm at the Macao Cultural Centre Grand Auditorium. Under the baton of conductor Yoel Levi, this concert will present wonderful works by 20th-century composers Sergei Rachmaninoff and Samuel Barber, with the cooperation of rising Japanese-American violinist Mayumi Kanagawa. Their performance will surely touch the audience by offering t a night of romantic music.

【“1+4” Key Industries Connects with International Green Opportunities】 Businesses from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Domestic and Overseas Enterprises Reach Business Opportunities through MIECF
The “Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2023MIECF)” has brought in green business opportunities for exhibitors from different countries and regions, including the Chinese Mainland, Portuguese-speaking countries, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR. These opportunities have allowed exhibitors to collaborate in a wide range of environmental protection sectors, such as new energy vehicles, charging piles, integrated photovoltaic-storage-charging technology, wastewater management, food waste recycling, carbon reduction. Some of the exhibitors have already signed co-operation agreements, or have already opened businesses in Macao. In order to capitalise on MIECF as a green business platform in the region, some exhibitors indicated that they would return and participate again in 2024. They also expressed their interest in strengthening their exchanges and partnerships with the international environmental industry in Portuguese-speaking countries, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as other provinces and municipalities in the Chinese Mainland, so as to explore and uncover new green business opportunities.
