The Financial Intelligence Office, as the coordinating agency of the Interdepartmental Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Working Group, held the first plenary meeting this year on 29 March 2023. The main agenda items discussed were the summary of the 3^rd round ML/TF/PF risk assessment of the Macao SAR and the outreach work plan for 2023. Another topic of discussion was the latest revisions of international AML/CFT standards and their impacts to Macao SAR. During the meeting, latest requirements for these revised standards were discussed, which include promoting transparency of beneficial ownership of legal persons and legal arrangements to prevent criminals from using complex corporate structures to conceal illegal activities and fund flows. The Working Group would consider the need to revise the relevant laws, regulations and guidelines according to the revision of the latest international standards on AML and CFT.

The Estoril swimming pool managed by Sports Bureau (ID) will be opened to the public from tomorrow (April 1^st) to November 30^th , divided into in three sessions per day: 1^st Session 07:00-11:00, 2^nd Session 12:00-16:00 and 3^rd Session 17:00-22:30. The pool will be temporarily closed for routine pool cleaning during the first session every Wednesday (on the occasion that Wednesday is a public holiday, the pool will remain opened and the cleaning will be postponed to the first session next following day).

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that licensed motor vehicles in Macao totalled 249,685 as at end-February 2023, up by 0.7% year-on-year; light automobiles (114,112) and heavy motorcycles (108,369) rose by 0.8% and 1.9% respectively. New registration of motor vehicles in February went up by 27.2% year-on-year to 917 (264 of them were electric), with that of heavy motorcycles rising by 38.7% to 566 (132 of them were electric). In the first two months of 2023, new registration of motor vehicles fell by 13.8% year-on-year to 1,701. Number of traffic accidents in February increased by 19.8% year-on-year to 986, with 332 persons injured. In the first two months of 2023, there were 2,058 traffic accidents, which resulted in 2 deaths and 659 injuries.
