An updated version of the exhibition “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time” will be launched on the 24 March, presenting the digital restoration of the Former Mater Dei Church with new experimental VR scenes
Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the “Visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s in Space and Time” – Exhibition of Virtual Reality at the Ruins of St. Paul’s presents a digital reconstruction of the Former Mater Dei Church (Church of the Mother of God), aimed at restoring the historical features of the building before it was destroyed by fire, thereby allowing the public to immerse in this magnificent masterpiece of Baroque architecture four hundred years ago. New exploration sessions with full virtual reality experiences will be officially launched on 24 March, presenting additional scenes related to the virtual restoration of the exterior of the Church and its surrounding area, while also presenting the interior and exterior features of the Church in a comprehensive and three-dimensional way. Tickets for the updated exploration sessions are on sale, starting from today, through the “Activity Registration” of the “Macao One Account”.

Sandpit in Temporary Leisure Area in Doca de Lam Mau to be closed for one day for maintenance
Since its opening, Temporary Leisure Area in Doca do Lam Mau has become very popular among the public and the sandpit has become a must-go for children who go there to play. To ensure the safety of users and environmental hygiene of the sandpit area, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will carry out the monthly cleaning and maintenance work of the sandpit area, including stirring, drying by sunlight, sifting, raking and disinfection of the sand, etc. on 15 March. At the same time, sand replenishment will be carried out to maintain the quality of the sandpit area.

According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) and commercial real estate loans (CRELs) both decreased month-to-month in January 2023. With regard to the outstanding balances, both RMLs and CRELs witnessed declines on a monthly basis.
