Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring inaugurates next Thursday

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring will be held from 20 to 23 April and from 27 to 30 April for two consecutive weeks at Tap Siac Square. The opening ceremony will be held at 6pm on 20 April (Thursday). All are welcome to participate and enjoy the cultural and creative feast.


Expansion of eligibility for Macao SAR Permanent Resident ID card renewal self-service

The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) continuously improves the self-service application for renewing Macao SAR Permanent Resident Identity Card. In order to facilitate the formalities for renewing identity cards for minors, starting from 13th April 2023, citizens can use self-service kiosks at three DSI’s offices (located at China Plaza in Avenida da Praia Grande, the Government Services Centre in Areia Preta and the Government Services Centre in Islands) to lodge the application for renewing Macao SAR Permanent Resident Identity Card for eligible underage children.


CE to attend Legislative Assembly session tomorrow

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, will attend a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly tomorrow (14 April) to answer Legislative Assembly members’ questions on Government policy and social issues.


Shanghai Ballet’s artistry at CCM A romantic tragedy on tiptoe

The Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, presents The Lady of the Camellias, a dance adaptation of a literary classic brought by the Shanghai Ballet to the Grand Auditorium in two shows to be performed on the 9th and 10th June (Friday and Saturday).



Mortgage loans statistics – February 2023

According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) fell whereas those of commercial real estate loans (CRELs) rose month-on-month in February 2023. With regard to the outstanding balances, RMLs dropped whereas CRELs witnessed an increase on a monthly basis.





Online registration for the exchange of the Tiger and Rabbit Zodiac banknotes and the XXIV Olympic Winter Games banknotes commencing next Monday

The joint online registration for the exchange of the Tiger and Rabbit Zodiac banknotes, together with the previously issued the XXIV Olympic Winter Games banknotes, will commence next Monday (17 April 2023).
