Commemorative postmark cancellation service of “28th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair”

To celebrate the 28th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at Venetian Macao Convention & Exhibition Centre and at our Philatelic Shop of General Post Office, during 19th to 22nd October 2023 to provide the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “28th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair”. Opening hours are as follows:


【Special Notice】31st Macao International Fireworks Display Contest is postponed from tomorrow (7 Oct) to next Monday

The 31st Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), originally scheduled to present the fireworks displays by the companies from the United Kingdom and Germany tomorrow evening (7 October), will be postponed to 9 October (next Monday) owing to the impact of the typhoon. Thank you for your attention and understanding.


Government Headquarters open to public on 21 and 22 October

The Government Headquarters Open Day sessions will this year be held on Saturday (21 October) and Sunday (22 October), from 9am to 6pm. The sessions will feature a series of performances and flower displays. The theme of this year’s floral arrangements – with prominent use of carnations – is “Macao Food Festival”, showcasing Macao cuisine and its Chinese and Western characteristics, and promoting Macao’s food culture and traditions.

Tsinghua University’s original drama Ma Lan Hua Kai premiered at UM

Tsinghua University’s original drama Ma Lan Hua Kai was premiered at the University of Macau (UM). The event is organised by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Macao SAR Government. It is co-organised by the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and the Association for Promotion of Science & Technology of Macau, and hosted by Tsinghua University and UM.

70th Macau Grand Prix Tickets to go on sale

The 70th Macau Grand Prix will be held on November 11th and 12th, and from 16th to 19th, 2023. Tickets for the event will go on sale from Monday, October 9th.

UM, Tsinghua University establish strategic partnership

A delegation led by Qiu Yong, secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, today (5 October) visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng. The two universities agreed to establish a strategic partnership to promote the development of education and research in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
