Concerning the Public Security Police Force’s operations and the Labour Affairs Bureau’s operations as well as various joint operations against illegal workers in March 2025, the figures are set out below:


Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring continues to be held from Thursday to Sunday

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the Tap Siac Craft Market in Spring will continue to be held from Thursday to Sunday (1 to 4 May) at Tap Siac Square, featuring a new group of cultural and creative brands, as well as music performances and creative handicraft workshops. All are welcome to participate.


UTM Lecturer Appointed Chief Expert for WorldSkills 2026 Bakery Competition

The Macao University of Tourism (UTM) is pleased to announce that Dr. David Charles Wiley Jr., lecturer at UTM, has been officially appointed by WorldSkills International as Chief Expert for the Bakery-47 project at the 48th WorldSkills Competition, to be held in Shanghai, China from 22 to 27 September 2026. This prestigious appointment follows his previous role as Expert Lead for the 2024 competition in Lyon, France.

MGTO promotes Macao at the largest Middle East travel trade show to explore new international visitor source markets

The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and local travel trade are participating in the Arabian Travel Market 2025, held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from today (28 April) until 1 May, to expand the Middle East market and attract more high-end international visitors.


Leisure Area in Rua Central de T'oi Sán temporarily closed as IAM launches optimisation works

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will launch the optimisation works of Leisure Area in Rua Central de T'oi Sán on 6 May. The leisure area will be reorganised on the theme of “urban oasis” to provide a space for doing leisure activities for the public. The public should take note that the leisure area will be temporarily closed during the construction period.
