Electoral Affairs Commission: All is ready for Sunday’s election

The Chairman of the Electoral Affairs Commission for the Legislative Assembly Election, Mr Seng Ioi Man, said today that all arrangements for the Legislative Assembly Election, to take place on Sunday (14 September), have been completed, including preparations for ballot issuance and counting, as well as staffing provisions.




WTT Champions Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group – round of 16 concluded

The fourth matchday of WTT Champions Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, World Table Tennis (WTT) and Galaxy Entertainment Group(GEG), and co-organized by the Macau Table Tennis General Association, was held today (12 September) at the Macao East Asian Games Dome. China’s Lin Shidong, Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, Chen Xingtong, Kuai Man, along with other players, have successfully advanced to tomorrow’s (13 September) quarterfinals.


CE inspects polling station arrangements ahead of Sunday’s election

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, today urged eligible voters to cast their ballot in the upcoming Legislative Assembly Election, to be held on Sunday (14 September), stressing that each vote is important to the formation of the new-term Legislative Assembly.




Public Library of the Cultural Affairs Bureau carries out enhancement works for small-scale facilities from next week

In order to further improve the spatiality and facility efficiency of the local public libraries, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will carry out enhancement works for a series of small-scale facilities in a number of public libraries across Macao from 15 September (Monday), which are expected to be completed by mid-December. During this period, all branch libraries will remain open to the public. All residents can access to the library services as usual.
