Cultural Affairs Bureau performs regular website maintenance on 27 February
In order to ensure the proper operation of its information technology system, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will perform regular maintenance on its website firewall from 7pm to 11pm on 27 February (Thursday). Therefore, the operation of several websites will be temporarily suspended, including the Cultural Affairs Bureau website and its sub-websites, the websites of the Cultural Heritage of Macao, the Macao World Heritage, the Macao Conservatory, the Archives of Macao, the Macao Museum of Art, the Macao Museum, the Macao Cultural Centre, the Macao Cultural and Creative Industries and the arts and cultural festivals, among others.

IAM to remove two withered trees in Guia Hill Municipal Park
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) continues to carry out follow-up and treatment of the two ancient Candlenut Trees in Guia Hill Municipal Park. Despite the implementation of measures such as disease and pest prevention and control, fertilisation and use of medicines during the curing period, the ancient trees have not shown improvement in the growth conditions and have withered. To ensure public safety, the two withered trees will be removed early next month. During the works period, the public are advised to follow the on-site instructions and refrain from entering the enclosed areas to avoid accidents.

Consumer price index (CPI) for January 2025
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI for January 2025 rose by 0.57% year-on-year and 0.17% month-on-month. For the 12 months ended January this year, the average Composite CPI grew by 0.7% from the previous period (February 2023 - January 2024).

2025MIECF to be held in Late-March with Debut Platform to Explore Green Business Opportunities
“The 2025 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition” (2025MIECF) will be held from 27 to 29 March. For the first time in Macao, the Robot Dog B2, which is renowned in the international robotic industry for its remarkable capabilities, will make an appearance at the exhibition. This year, the event will also feature the world's first solar-powered and wireless charging system for shared electric bikes, as well as innovative technologies such as a liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging system capable of completing a charge in just over ten minutes. The event aimed to establish a proactive green platform through various debut projects. It is expected to attract over 40 well-known listed companies and more than 100 international exhibitors from Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Portuguese-speaking countries and regions.
