Call for information from the cultural and creative industries sector for the Craft Market Booth Operator Database

In order to facilitate the application of the cultural and creative industries in different types of craft and cultural and creative markets, such as the Tap Siac Craft Market, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) has launched the “Craft Market Booth Operator Database” to collect information from local cultural and creative practitioners who are engaged in original craft creation, cultural and creative product design, as well as services offering cultural and artistic experiences, and are interested in participating in craft and cultural and creative markets. The database aims to serve as a platform for exchange and facilitate the sustainable development of Macao’s cultural and creative industries.


46% of Employers Not Yet Paid Contributions, FSS Calls for More Use of Electronic Channels

As of October 23, about 12,000 employers still have not yet made Social Security System’s obligatory system contributions for their employees for the third quarter of 2022, accounting for about 46% of the total employers who are required to pay contributions. The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) calls on employers and residents to make more use of electronic channels for payment of contributions or to use the appointment service.


MPU Holds “Annual Conference on Tourism and Entertainment Technology Innovation 2022”

The Annual Conference on Tourism and Entertainment Technology Innovation 2022, organized by MPU, was held at Macao Polytechnic University on 19th October. Sixteen units from tourism leisure and entertainment integrated enterprises, gaming equipment technology companies and technology network associations were invited to contribute their advanced ideas to the development of tourism and entertainment technology innovation. The contents of the conference covered three aspects: “Building a City of Smart Tourism & Entertainment”, “Latest Developments of Gaming Technology Industry”, and “Virtual Reality – The New Trend of Travel Experience”. The conference attracted more than 150 participants from enterprises and universities.


Christmas card of CTT for sale

Christmas is approaching and it is a season of celebration. CTT will launch a new design of Christmas card on 1st November 2022, which can be purchased at General Post Office and all post offices for the public to send warm wishes to their relatives and friends.



CE: Full support for new CPC central leadership

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, today said in a statement that the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) would support wholeheartedly the new central leadership, which was elected today at the first plenary meeting of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

69th Macau Grand Prix – Family Carnival Online Registration Opens Monday

The Macau Grand Prix - Family Carnival will be held at Tap Seac Square from November 5 to 6. Entry will be via initial registration, followed by the drawing of lots to enter the venue at different times. Those interested in visiting can register online from 10:00am on October 24, to 6:00pm on October 29. Successful registrants will receive an SMS notification from November 1 to 2.
