132,268 samples collected as of 15:00 among persons in key areas, key groups and those leaving home for work; 32,338 of collected samples have been tested and returned as negative

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that with regard to the NAT drive for persons in key areas, key groups, and those who need to leave home for work, a total of 132,268 samples have been collected as of 15:00 today (24 July); among them, 32,338 samples have been analysed, and their results are negative.


IAM to resume limited public services and the public are required to make advance booking and arrive on time to comply with anti-epidemic measures

The Macao Government Services Centre in Areia Preta and the Macao Government Services Centre in Islands will offer limited public services from 25 July to 29 July. To comply with anti-epidemic measures and avoid crowd gathering, the public should first make a booking through www.csraem.gov.mo/csrbooking/ and then arrive at the venue on time for processing the services. For enquiries, the public can call 2845 1515 or 2842 1212.

New positive cases within 24 hours yesterday (23 July)

The new positive cases reported in Macao within 24 hours yesterday (23 July) include: 5 cases in the Red Code zones and medical observation hotels, which were detected under management and control; 0 case of close contacts, 0 case in the Citywide NAT and Key Groups NAT, and 0 case among other population groups.


Rua da Emenda is in good order with crowd control measure adopted during the daytime

As Macao has entered the “consolidation period” of pandemic prevention and control, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) continues to adopt crowd control measure in Rua da Emenda and some road sections of Rua de Tomé Pires today (24 July) during the daytime from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. The overall operation has been smooth.


Supplies delivery service of Red Code Zone Edf. Siu Tak suspended today to facilitate nucleic acid tests of households

As the Health Bureau has arranged for the households in Edf. Siu Tak (Bloco 1) to undergo nucleic acid specimen collection this morning (24 July), the distribution of vegetables and frozen meat food packs originally scheduled for this morning has to be rescheduled to this afternoon. Therefore, the Subsistence Team will suspend the delivery service of life supplies sent by friends and relatives of households in Edf. Siu Tak, which was originally scheduled for 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. today. The households’ understanding is appreciated and they are advised to ask friends and relatives not to send supplies to the site today.
