Registration Opening for “Web, Application and Mini Program Accessibility Workshop (2025)”

The Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) will hold the “Web, Application and Mini Program Accessibility Workshop (2025)” on 7th June this year. The purposes of this activity are to raise public awareness of Web, Application and Mini Program accessibility design and encourage all sectors of the community to follow the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines” 2.2 AA-level standard, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), so that the relevant content can better meet the needs of users. The workshop is free and has 50 seats.


Inauguration ceremony of citywide cleanup campaign held today

The inauguration ceremony of citywide cleanup campaign organised by the “city beautification and sanitation working group” was held in the afternoon today (5 April) in Iao Hon Market Park. Representatives from the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM), the Health Bureau, the Environmental Protection Bureau, the Public Works Bureau, the Land and Urban Construction Bureau, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau, the Macao Government Tourism Office and other departments and associations attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, the various units formed different teams to “enter the neighbourhoods” and carry out cleaning and promotional and educational activities to increase the residents’ and trade’s awareness of prevention of rodent infestations and elimination of mosquitoes, so as to continuously enhance the standard of beautification and hygiene of the city.





Macao Medical Center of PUMCH launches “Weight Management Joint Clinic”

To align with the action and practice under the “Healthy Macao Blueprint” of the Macao SAR Government, enhance residents’ awareness and ability for proactive health management, and effectively carry out the “Healthy Chinainitiative and the “Weight Management Year” action set forth in the 2025 Two Sessions, the Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “Macao Medical Center of PUMCH”) has integrated experts from multiple specialties, including dietetics, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and rehabilitation, and recently launched the “Weight Management Joint Clinic,” leveraging its comprehensive multidisciplinary advantages to safeguard residents’ health.


【Carry on Motorsport culture】 The Champion Car of the First Asian Grand Prix Macau – Illustration Competition opens for applications next Monday (7 April)

The Macao Grand Prix Museum (referred to as the “Museum”), under Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), partners with Macau Creations Limited to organize the “Champion Car of the First Asian Grand Prix Macau – Illustration Competition” (referred to as the “Competition”), welcoming applications from 7 April onward. Aiming to carry on Macao motorsport culture, the motorsport-themed competition is held to depict the fascinating moments of Triumph TR2, the car driven by the first champion in 1954 through illustrations. The works will be exhibited to boost the appeal of the Museum and the impact of “tourism + sports”.


Representatives from Two International Authoritative MICE Organisations Visit Macao to Promote the Macao-Hengqin MICE Industry and Intensify Professional Training

Senior representatives from two international authoritative MICE organisations — Alexander Alles, Executive Director of the Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC), and Mark Cochrane, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific at the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) — visited Macao to meet with the the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) of the Macao SAR, and local exhibition industry representatives. They exchanged views on the development of the international exhibition industry and the collaboration in green and sustainable practices in the Greater Bay Area, as well as introduced the advantages of "MICE² Macao x Hengqin" and the “Multi-venue Event" model.


Macao Medical Center of PUMCH actively expands medical services within the first six months of operation

The Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (hereinafter referred to as “Macao Medical Center of PUMCH”) officially opened on 16 September 2024, marking the commencement of a new stage of development for Macao’s healthcare sector.


Monetary and financial statistics – February 2025

According to statistics released today (3 April) by the Monetary Authority of Macao, broad money supply continued to grow in February 2025. Meanwhile, resident deposits rose from a month ago whereas loans to residents posted a decline.
