DSI launched online overseas assistance service for Macao residents who lost travel document in journey

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) officially launched the online overseas assistance service on 27th October 2021. The service will provide prompt response to Macao residents who lost their Macao Special Administrative Region travel documents (hereinafter referred as “Macao SAR travel documents) overseas, so that they can return home safely.


5th November is the Deadline for Payment of Contributions, FSS Reminds Employers and Residents to Make their Payments as Soon as Possible

October is the contribution month of the Social Security System. Due to the epidemic, the payment deadline has been extended to 5th November. The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) reminds that the number of people at the service points is expected to increase when the deadline is approaching. Employers are uged to make their payments as soon as possible and make use of electronic payment options. If residents need to visit a service point in person, they are also suggested to use the appointment service.
