695,000 persons tested for COVID-19 across Macao
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, as of 19:00 today (6 August), a total of about 593,000 people have been sampled under the Citywide Nucleic Acid Testing Programme, and a total of 283,000 specimens collected therefrom have been tested. The test results were all negative.

Earlier termination of summer activities 2021
To cooperate with SAR government in the work on epidemic prevention and control, summer activities co-organised by Sports Bureau and Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) were suspended from 4 August onwards. People who need to cross border may speed up testing at their own expense
According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, since the quantity of the samples collected in the community-wide nucleic acid testing programme is huge, it will take time for the test results to be uploaded to the health code system and no paper-based proof will be provided. The Public Security Police Force urges people who need to cross the border to go to the following four locations for testing and the paper-based proof at their own expense, and the test result will be available within 12 hours. The locations are: Macao Port Zone of Hengqin Port Macao Exit E06 (self-service area); 4/F, Centro Comercial do Grupo Brilhantismo, Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção, Macao; Macao Forum and Taipa Ferry Terminal.
