“Debut@Macao” and Four Other Themed Matching Sessions to Be Launched at 2025MIECF

In alignment with the nation’s “dual carbon” goals and the “two new” policies of promoting large-scale equipment upgrades and trade-in of consumer goods, the 2025 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2025MIECF) will introduce debut elements and arrange five themed matching sessions to create an international environmental communication and co-operation platform for domestic and international exhibitors and traders, thus opening up international business opportunities for environmental protection.


Electoral Affairs Commission stresses need to follow the law when seeking to form nomination committees

The Electoral Affairs Commission for the Legislative Assembly Election today called for everyone – and, in particular, individuals intending to form a nomination committee and run for election – not only to act lawfully, but also take on the responsibility to safeguard collectively the good order of the election. That includes respecting each voter’s will regarding signing an endorsement form and ensuring voters acquire all relevant information before such signing.


Tickets to ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group to go on sale starting 20 March

The ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), organized by the Sports Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and World Table Tennis Management Group Limited (WTMG), and co-organized by the Macau Table Tennis General Association, will be held at the Galaxy Arena from 14 to 20 April. Tickets to the event will go on sale starting 20 March.





UM students win award in Huawei ICT Competition Asia-Pacific Regional Final

A student team from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the University of Macau (UM) represented Macao in the Asia-Pacific Regional Final of the Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 and won the second prize in the Computing Track. The competition attracted over 8,000 students from more than 20 countries and regions worldwide. After rounds of competition, over 110 students from 12 countries and regions advanced to the Asia-Pacific Regional Final, and the UM team stood out for their exceptional performance.




Cultural Affairs Bureau sets up a pavilion at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) to promote filming in Macao

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) has organised the participation of relevant local departments and film and television industry entities in the Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) 2025, and set up a “Macao Pavilion” in the event to promote Macao's film and television services, in the hope of encouraging more film and television projects to be shot in Macao and creating more opportunities for the development of the local industry.
