Special Authorization to Stay for Non-resident Students

Application for a certificate certifying the relevant document is copied from the applicant’s dossier


How to Apply

Time of application: Persons who have made or are making an application to the Residence and Stay Affairs Department and have a dossier opened may apply, depending on their personal need, to this Subdivision for a “Certificate” regarding their dossier during office hours.

Application procedures and documents required

  1. Application Approach
    1. To apply in person or by a legal representative to the Subdivision concerned during office hours
    2. The legal representative should submit the following:
      1. A certified letter of authorization;
      2. A copy of his/her valid identification document.
  2. Documents Must be Presented
    1. Unless otherwise noted, the original should be exhibited for authentication if a copy is submitted;
    2. The copy should be authenticated if the original cannot be exhibited.
  3. Necessary Documents
    1. Application letter(DARP/DARP M-3);
      [Note: (1) The template of the “application letter” is available at the Subdivision concerned and the website of the Public Security Police Force; (2) The application letter should contain: A. the applicant’s personal information; B. the fact to be certified; C. the purpose the certificate/declaration serves]
    2. Copy of applicant’s valid identification document;
  4. Form: Declaration / application form (DARP/DARP M-3)

Tags dispensed until 17:00 (for making applications)
17:15 (collection of result or document supplementation)

Charge

MOP15 for the first page, MOP5 per following page (including copies of the documents in the interested person’s dossier).


Processing Time (excluding time of waiting in a queue and postage time for documents sent by mail)

2 working days <Performance Pledge>
(It is timed from the next working day following the day when the service unit received and confirmed that all the required documents had been correctly prepared)


Remark / Requirements

According to Term 1, Article 66 of Law No. 16/2021, to apply for a visa, Authorization to Enter and Stay, Macao SAR Residence Authorization, Renewal or Extension of Residence Authorization means the interested person consents to have his or her personal information, which includes his or her biodata, treated by the Public Security Police Force.
