Following the success of previous food promotions, IFT is proud to present the exotic Mexican Food Promotion on 24-28 September. Mexican cuisine is known for its rich flavours and variety of spices and we are pleased to invite 2 well-reputed chefs, Chef Norma Leticia Ramon Benavidez and Chef Martha Eugenia Sanchez Dueñas from Mexico City to be guest chefs at IFT Educational Restaurant. Both of them are teaching at the University of Claustro de Sor Suana, one of Mexico’s leading culinary universities. In addition, Chef Norma Leticia Ramon Benavidez represents Mexico at various food expos and conferences. Some of the delights include Mexican Stone-cooked Seafood Soup, Mexican Stuffed Crabs, Red Snapper Veracruz Style, Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb Barbacoa Style with Salsa Duet and much more. To accompany with the glamourous Mexican cuisine, a selection of the finest tequila, beer and wine from Mexico is available. Along with the Mexican Food Promotion, Chef Norma Leticia Ramon Benavidez and Chef Martha Eugenia Sanchez Dueñas will also host a Culinary Workshop on 26 & 27 September at IFT, which local chefs and IFT students will have valuable opportunity to experience and learn the Mexican cuisine. It aims to inspire the participants to create more innovative gourmets, which will certainly contribute to the development of tourism in Macao.
