POP MART MACAO CITYWALK attracts over 150,000 persons in the first phase Participation count reaches 620,000 in consumption lucky draw

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and POP MART jointly present the mega cultural tourism project – POP MART MACAO CITYWALK from 6 June to 21 September. Installations of the popular characters Baby Molly, CRYBABY, DIMOO and LABUBU are set up at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro, Camões Square, St. Augustine’s Square and Vila da Taipa Historical Center Archway. Preliminary statistics indicate that the event attracted about 153,000 persons to the installations at the four community districts and the vicinity of POP STATION in the first phase (6 – 28 June). Participation counts reached 620,000 in the consumption lucky draw.


【The Spice of Life: Macao’s Culinary Connections】“International Gastronomy Forum, Macao” will convene in mid-July

The “2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao” (referred to as the “Fest”) will be held at Roman Amphitheatre Square and Legend Boulevard of Macau Fisherman’s Wharf from 11 to 20 July. As one of the major highlights, the “International Gastronomy Forum, Macao” will bring together catering professionals and delegates from Creative Cities of Gastronomy across the world as well as Creative Cities in other fields to explore the essence of spices and herbs in fusion cuisines to foster preservation of culinary heritage. It will manifest Macao’s vibrant food culture as a Creative City of Gastronomy.


Integrated resorts present “Art Macao” special exhibitions, showcasing a kaleidoscopic art fair

The Special Exhibition, presented by the six integrated resorts, is a distinct segment of the large-scale international cultural and artistic feast “Art Macao: Macao International Art Biennale” (Art Macao). This year’s Special Exhibition presents a kaleidoscopic art fair with unprecedented lineup and diversity of forms, featuring everything from the modernist enlightenment of Picasso’s prints and the interactive digital fireworks art of Cai Guo-Qiang and his custom-developed AI artist cAI™️ to Bruno Moinard’s deconstruction of the spatial poetics of French decorative arts; from the Haas Brothers’ light and shadow installations evoking industrial memory, Craig & Karl and multiple international contemporary artists’ whimsical exploration of dopamine aesthetics featuring the classic IP “Sesame Street” to the digital rebirth of Jingdezhen porcelain through 4K projections.
