Individuals in the key area are urged to make an appointment and complete nucleic acid testing as soon as possible; failure to take the test as required will result in the Macao Health Code being converted to yellow the next day

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that the COVID-19 positive case detected yesterday (26 October), which involves a 66-year-old female Macao resident, has been classified as an imported case. In order to identify any potential infected persons who may be lurking in the local community, key area nucleic acid testing has been implemented for the building where the positive case resided and the area she frequented. Target groups of the testing drive are required to undergo three nucleic acid tests in total, one each for yesterday (26 October), today (27 October) and tomorrow (28 October). For this reason, individuals in the key area are reminded again to book and complete the nucleic acid test as soon as possible; those who fail to take the test as required will see their Macao Health Code changed to yellow on the next day, and they can only have the green health code restored after a nucleic acid test is carried out with negative result.
