DSI launched application service for Certificate of Personal Data on “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR”

The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) launches the application service for the Certificate of Personal Data on the “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR” starting from 11th April 2022 in line with the development of the electronic administration of the Macao SAR Government. Besides, DSI can issue electronic certificates, which allows citizens to go through the entire application process on the Internet without leaving home.


Macao Grand Prix Museum introduces new feature of 360o panoramic view to attract visitors

The Macao Grand Prix Museum (the “Museum”) debuts the new feature of 360-degree panoramic view for residents and visitors to enjoy an online virtual tour to the Museum, which shall promote their actual visits. The stamp series themed as “Museums and their Collections VI – Macao Grand Prix Museum” also came onto display in the Museum, which further enriches museumgoers’ experience.


CE to attend Legislative Assembly session tomorrow

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, will attend a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly at 3pm tomorrow (12 April) to answer Legislative Assembly members’ questions on Government policy and social issues.


Commemorative envelope of“World Stamp Festival Stamp Show 2022”

“World Stamp Festival Stamp Show 2022” will be held in Tokyo, Japan, during 22nd to 24th April 2022. To commemorate this Exhibition, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue the commemorative envelopes, and have authorized the local philatelic agent to officially represent and provide the commemorative postmark cancellation service on site of the exhibition.


Mortgage loans statistics – February 2022

According to statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, new approvals of residential mortgage loans (RMLs) decreased while those of commercial real estate loans (CRELs) increased in February 2022. With regard to the outstanding balances, RMLs remained virtually unchanged whereas CRELs witnessed a decline.


CE: Macao sees expanding platform roles in serving China and Portuguese-speaking countries

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, today said the bridging roles of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) in terms of serving China and Portuguese-speaking countries had been expanding, thanks to the support of the Central Government, and the foundation laid by the previous five editions of the Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.



Travel security alert to the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Crimes of armed robberies, attacks and kidnappings have recently happened against Chinese citizens in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“Congo”). Given the security situation in Congo, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) alerts Macao residents not to travel to Congo for now. Macao residents who are currently in Congo are urged to pay close attention to the severity of the situation and the security prospect there, enhance their consciousness of risk prevention and leave the country as soon as possible.
