Jointly with Sun Yat-sen University, PRC, IFT organises the “Tourism Integration among Macao, Guangdong and Hong Kong” seminar. Professors and scholars from the mainland and Hong Kong join IFT scholars attend the academic seminar to probe into the development of tourism in the Pearl Delta region. The opening ceremony is held at 1430 on 28 September at Pousada Conference Room, IFT. With the fast bloom of tourism industry of Macao in recent years, there will be more cooperation with Guongdong and Hong Kong for the integration in development of tourism in the Pearl Delta region. During the two-day joint seminar, various guest speakers will share their experience on tourism education and research, to explore the opportunities and problems of tourism in the region. Through the organisation of the seminar, IFT expects to liaise the local scholars and experts from the mainland and Hong Kong so as to enhance cooperation to build the prosperous future of tourism industry of the Pearl Delta region. IFT always advance the research level as to contribute to the industry and the society. By organising various conferences, seminars and workshops, IFT is devoted to constantly share with the industry the most updated information and research findings, in order to foresee the future of Macao’s tourism industry
